• Leads and manages the financial, human, technology, facilities, and organizational operations and resources of the school, and supervising staff who lead these operations.
• Serves as a key member of the dean’s cabinet conducting strategic planning, and works closely with department chairs and program directors to support their planning and operations.
• Represents the dean and school on a range of university committees and venues.
• Serves the Senior Vice-Chancellor as a part of the New Brunswick Financial Officers group and its sub-committees.
• Acts as the liaison for the school with university offices such as Office of General Counsel, University Office of Labor Relations, and Ethics and Compliance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree and a minimum of ten years of supervisory and/or executive experience in higher education, including responsibility for budget development and financial management, human resources management, enrollment management, and/or long-range planning.
• Experience in strategic analysis and planning.
• Demonstrated success in managing a complex organization and in establishing excellent relationships with a range of diverse internal and external constituents including faculty, staff, students, alumni, university administration, and others.
• Ability to serve as a capable representative of the dean and school in a range of venues and meetings.
• Technology proficiency and outstanding communication skills are critical.
• Creative leader with a vision for the importance of collaboration with stakeholders in managing finance, personnel, and administrative operations in achieving institutional excellence.
• Experience with grants and contracts preferred.
• While the position is eligible for hybrid work, presence on campus is expected on most days.
