Job Description:NOVA Workforce is seeking an experienced instructor to deliver classroom and technical training that will prepare students to successfully pass the EPA 608 Universal certification exams. This is a non-credit, 42 instructional hours course for adult learners. Must be available to teach evenings or Saturday classes. Instructor will also be responsible to proctor studentsâ exams. Duties and Tasks:Provide hands-on instruction and practical training to prepare students for the EPA 608 Universal exams. Training should focus on exam objectivesPrepares, teaches and evaluates assigned instructional materials (course outlines, syllabi, student handouts, hands-on exercises, assessments, and training aids (classroom and lab).Evaluate students to ensure they are meeting learning objectives and are prepared for the certification exams.Assist in class scheduling and program management.Advises program Manager of needed supplies and materials for the class.Maintains a hazard free environment and practices safety in lab(s) or classroom.Working knowledge of computer applications and the ability to use computer for providing class presentation.Essential Functions: As a part of the primary responsibility to provide quality instruction, the College expects each faculty member to meet assigned classes regularly; submit required records and reports routinely; teach the prescribed courses of study with the established texts; and adhere to the statement on professional ethics in accordance with College policies, procedures, and regulations.
