Project Manager, Institutional Initiatives - Office of University Provost

Position will coordinate and manage a variety of activities and resources related to the initiatives of the Vice Provosts and the Provost. Will work closely with and under the guidance of the Director of Institutional Development. Will collaborate with the members of the institutional research team, and various campus partners in order to promote Provost and institutional projects and programs. The purpose of the position is to manage various special and cyclical projects. This position will create regular communications, develop timelines for various projects, engage in reporting, provide analysis and strategic support to assigned committees.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Project management to support the initiatives of the Vice Provosts.Â Work closely with and under the supervision of the Director of Institutional Development to outline timelines, scopes of work, resources needed, and communications to progress these projects.Â Assist in setting meeting agendas, identifying action items, and tracking completion of action items. Provide analysis and strategic support with minimal oversight.
Staff various committees by assisting with scheduling, generating meeting minutes, preparing reports, participating in data collection, and researching practices. Collaborate with campus partners through advocacy, leadership, and communication.Â Advise administration on decision options, challenges and opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Proficient computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office.
Experience in a higher education environment.
Exceptional written and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience with project coordination and management.
Experience analyzing data (qualitative/quantitative).
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a complex organizational environment.
High degree of self-motivation, organization, accuracy, and productivity with an ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and follow-through on projects in a timely manner with varying degrees of pressure.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and meet planned project goals.
Demonstrated ability in M.S. Office suite.

Bachelor's degree in relevant field and three years of experience or a master's degree and one year of experience.
$55,600.00 - $94,900.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
