The W. Fielding Rubel School of Business at Bellarmine University invites applications for a position in the Department of Accounting: Instructor of Accounting. The Rubel School of Business is accredited by AACSB.
The position will primarily teach Principles of Financial Accounting and/or Principles of Managerial Accounting courses. Additional courses will depend on the experience and expertise of the instructor. We seek an individual who is student-centered and enjoys teaching, advising, and mentoring, as well as interested in working with the student accounting organization, Bellarmine University Accounting Association. Job Requirements:
Master's Degree in Accounting, Masters Degree with an Emphasis in Accounting, or a Masters of Taxation (with an undergraduate accounting degree). Graduate coursework must include at least eighteen (18) graduate accounting credits. A completed PhD. in Accounting also meets the requirements and PhD candidates at the ABD stage will be considered.
Public and/or corporate experience
CPA certification
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to teach upper division accounting coursework in any of the following areas is desirable: Financial, Cost, Tax, and/or Systems.
