Western Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure eligible position at the assistant or associate professor rank in the Accounting Department of the Gordon Ford College of Business. Employment begins Fall 2023 or earlier. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in teaching, research, and service activities that support the goals of the department, college, and university. The normal teaching load is nine hours per semester. The Gordon Ford College of Business is AACSB accredited in both business and accounting. Of the 2,000+ students enrolled in the college, over 300 are accounting majors.
Qualifications include an earned doctorate with an emphasis in Accounting from an AACSB accredited US institution. ABDs near completion may also be considered. The successful candidate should demonstrate potential for quality teaching, research, and service activities. Additional consideration will be given to applicants with professional certifications and specializations in auditing, taxation, or AIS.
